Incorrect!
3/10 year applies ONLY for illegal presence and not out of status. The illegal presence starts after I-94 date. I think one of Pappu's blog covers illegal presence details.
However, for I-485 approval, section 245(k) covers out of status for 180 cumulative calendar days since last lawful admission in US.

Congratulations! Don't worry, those emails don't arrive in a logical order. I am pretty sure you will get a case approval email soon. In any case your wait is over. Happy 4th!!
I got the e-mail saying that they have mailed my 485 approval notice on August 4 - but nothing after that - will the notice come to me at home or will it go to the lawyer - also how long before the card production e-mail gets here - not that I am in a tearing hurry - I have waited several years so what is another month ?

Hi,
I am a Jul 23rd I-485 filer. Just called USCIS second time (first time no success), went thru their menu and was lucky to get a great Cust Service Rep.
She asked me the I-485 receipt #s, address, primary contact #, DOB, and Zip Code for self and spouse.
She generated a SR for us together and gave us a Conf # for FP notice. She said that you should receive a FP appt notice in next 30 days.
So I guess, perseverance does pay off :)
Hopefully we can get this FP out of the way soon enough.
FYI I am a Bay Area resident.
I am not sure if opening SR helps, especially for TSC. I opened SR 30 days ago and still waiting. They have not scheduled me yet for an appointment.

I applied for my I140 in May and it is pending in Nebraska.
I filed my AOS in Nebraska in July.
I am in Texas Service center teritory. Does this mean that my case will be transferred to texas and I will receive receipt from texas

My wife got EAD approved on 16th Aug and I got my approved today. I do not know why 10 days of delay.
One thing I noticed is within last week or so, lot of people are receiving EADs and I485 processing is slowed down. I think now they are concentrating on EADs and come sept they will again jump to 485s. Just a guess!

GKBest, it takes minimum two days to appear on computer records for the customer care to tell you. My application was entered in system on 10th october but rep could only see it on 12th oct.

In current situation Labor is impossible for approval. My attorney told me clearly that labor is impossible to approve in this bad economy and wastage of money.
This is a very valid point.
