My immigration status is H1 (485 pending EB2/INDIA). I am on the verge of completing my 2 year Masters in Computer Information Systems (MS-CIS) from Missouri State in Springfield, Missouri. Its a distance education Masters program with one week of on-campus residency every semester. The program is geared towards working IT professionals and its accredited by AACSB. Hello,
I have not seen the 485 receipt notice come through and its been over 6 months since I applied. Down the line after a few months we will have to start preparing for EAD and AP renewal and I take it we will need a copy of the 485 receipt notice to file? Any thoughts.

That's strange that you got your EAD and AP but did not get the I-485 receipt. I think its time for you to call the USCIS helpdesk and if that doesn't prove helpful then take an infopass appointment to find out what's going on .

I already send my EAD card. on Dec 11th. When did you resubmitted EAD Card and how many day USCIS took to reissue new EAD cards.

Folks,
can i invoke a AC21 on future gc..I did not work for this company, i am tired of my current company, they have exploited me and my personality is changing and i forgotten to live life, want to port and move on to a new company ? is AC21 on future GC consider legal or fraud.?

Future GC labor PD : Dec 2002
Category: EB3.
I140 : approved 2004
I485: RFE on expired medicals; new medicals submitted.
EAD/AP : so far five renewals( though i did not use EAD i did use AP for travel)

Will a letter from the future GC compnay stating the position is no longer availablle due to this enormous amount of time suffice ?
your postive comments and if you have been in this situation pls tell me how you managed.

My lawyer told me the backlog is 400K. As an European, I am expecting to wait between 2 to 3 years for my GC. Anything sooner would be a nice surprise!

It is going to very much depend on your priority date and employment based category.

I noticed that California has around 20 names. I know that around 35 to 40 ppl are flying from CA. I think that is would be a similar case with other states.

As for as I knw You can be out of job for any period in EAD. But when they process I485 you need to be in the job. Many unemployed persons are getting GC interview. If you do not get RFE or interview then it is ok even if you are unemployed at the time of receiving gc.

Her H4 is not valid. She did travel to India without an approved AP.

Can we cancel her GC application and bring her back on H4?

Any other options?

According to my attorney, if you are in valid H1 status, your wife can get her H4 stamped, reenter on an H4 and still maintain her GC application. Once she comes back, she can go back to work on her EAD and transition into I-485 pending status.

I did think about doing it this way, but it didn't feel the "right thing to do"...

I spoke to my lawyer on what to do , but I'm not getting a straight answer.

Do you guys recommend a lawyer that would be able to help?

I checked Murthy.com and she asks for $250/20min of consultation... Is she that good? Should I consider calling her?
